Hello, I’m Bill Brydges, Assistant Chief of Operations for the City of Kenosha Police Department.  The office of Assistant Chief of Operations is responsible for the overall management, planning and coordination of the Patrol and Investigations Divisions of the Kenosha Police Department.

The City of Kenosha Police Department has four Uniform Patrol Shifts working a rotating schedule to provide twenty-four hour seven day a week service.  The Investigations Division has two shifts which operate on both a five day work week and a four day work week rotating schedule.  These two divisions contain specialty units to better serve the community such as the Motorcycle Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, Street Crimes Unit, Fraud Unit and Sensitive Crimes unit just to name a few.

Officers of the Police Department also work in conjunction with members of the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department serving on the “TRT” (Tactical Response Team) and the “HDS” (Hazardous Device Squad).

The Kenosha Police Department, as a whole, strives to keep the citizens and visitors of our community safe by preserving peace, order and safety for all.  As with everything, communication is the key to cooperation and understanding.  Please feel free to contact me or The Kenosha Police Department for any assistance or information you may need.
